About Us
The Branham Field Hockey Program is committed to developing field hockey skills at every level. Athletes will learn specific skills, strategies and teamwork. Our particular goal is to create a field hockey community with a genuine love of the sport and a mutual respect for all participants. Skills will be developed through practice sessions, games, and events scheduled throughout the season.

Coaching Staff
Branham's head field hockey coach, Tina Parrott (Branham graduate-class of 1985) has been in the position since the 2014-15 school year. Previously she spent four years as the JV coach. Kim Johansen (Branham graduate-class of _____) continues as the assistant head coach since 2014. Sara Schiro (Branham graduate-class of 2014) is in her first year as JV head coach (2015). She worked for the past year as a graduate assistant. Courtney Durrant will be the graduate assistant (2015) and help coach JV. The coaching staff's highest priority is that players become contributing members of society. Both coaches work together to create an encouraging atmosphere that promotes teamwork and personal growth through fun and hard work.To find out more about the coaching staff, check out the Coaching Bios page.

All Branham High School field hockey players are expected to be examples both on and off the field. Many of the players are involved in a variety of other programs such as music, school plays, student leadership, and more. All players agree to follow team expectations in the team handbook.

This website will be the primary form of communication for players, coaches, parents and the community. Players will also receive updates on the Branham Field Hockey Facebook page, however players are responsible for checking the Latest News page for any updates and important information.

The Branham Field Hockey Program begins in mid-August and extends until the end of November. The season schedule is determined by BVAL and in accordance with CCS guidelines. Games are generally scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays. Practices are everyday after school.

Team tryouts will be held in mid-August. Players are expected to come to tryouts in shape and ready to play. A summer workout program is available to help players reach fitness goals. Come to tryouts with shinguards, a mouthguard, water, running shoes, turf shoes, and comfortable clothing. Be sure to check the latest news page for any updates. In order to tryout, players will need to have a sports physical and sign up on Register My Athlete website. All tryout information and steps are on the Tryout Schedule page.

Alumni are an important part of the Branham Field Hockey Program. Every season an alumni game is scheduled. Check this website for upcoming events, schedules and alumni information.

Branham Summer Camp
Each summer Branham Field Hockey will hold a camp for new and experienced players on the 3rd full week of June. The purpose of the camp is to expose younger players to the sport, prepare incoming freshmen for tryouts and to assist players in improving their field hockey skills.
