Getting Ready for Fall 2015!

We just finished camp with 25 players attending. Many of these players will be attending BHS in the upcoming years. We have a strong group of athletes coming soon. Here is some information that will help you through the summer and into the fall season:

Tryouts-All of the fall tryout information is listed. Check out the Tryout Schedule for all of the details. Be sure to spread the word to all returning and potential new players.

Registration-This year registration for all sports will be all online. You can begin the process today. Take a look at Branham’s website and follow the details on Steps to Becoming a Branham Athlete. You must complete these requirements in order to tryout.

Summer Open Field Dates-These will be coach or player led. If you are available to sign up to “lead” a day, please let us know at branhamfieldhockey@gmail.com. We would like to get at least 2 players for each day. This would mean you would cover all Tuesdays (Wed. or Friday), not just one. You will get a bag of balls and cones and the combo to one of the extra cages. It is suggested that you use the time for stick work, conditioning and game play. If you take 15 min. each to warm up and cool down you could devote 30 min. to each of those areas within the two hour period.

Tues (6-8 p.m.)-July 7, 14. 21 and 28
Wed (6-8 p.m.)-July 8, 15, 22, 29
Sat.- (8-10 a.m.)-July 11, 18, 25 (NOTE: the 18th is the flea market and 25th is a football camp at 9)

Summer Workout
-Many of you are involved in summer leagues and scrimmages or have been working out on your own. Please be sure that you are prepared for tryouts in the fall as that will be a huge component in the selection process. We are offering Summer Open Field dates and also a Summer Workout Program that will help give you an idea of how you can be prepared and ready to go. Remember, we will only be as strong as our weakest player. Don’t let that be YOU.

NOTE: We will try to update the LATEST NEWS page every two weeks or whenever new information comes out. You may want to book mark the page and check it once a week just in case.
